You Pick events
Saturday mornings, Friday and Saturday evenings
This year Funky Foliage Gardens in Te Puke will be hosting You Pick events on Saturday mornings and Friday and Saturday evenings. Bookings are essential as we are weather and flower-production dependent. All You Pick events are announced on Instagram and Facebook, and booked through this website.
$2 per stem
Charge is $2 per stem for as much as you want to pick. The booking reserves your place — you pay for the flowers you take home.

If the weather does not suit picking, or we have had issues around flower volume, you will be notified two days before the booked event.

Where can I pick my own flowers in Te Puke?
At Funky Foliage Gardens, 43 No. 2 Road, RD 2, Te Puke 3182, in the Bay of Plenty. Tony and Karen Hooper run the farm. Book a session before you come.
When are the You Pick days?
Saturday morning, and Friday and Saturday evening. Dates go up on Instagram and Facebook first, then on the booking calendar.
What flowers can I pick?
Whatever the rows are giving that week. This season that includes statice, scabiosa, yarrow, celosia, gomphrena, zinnia, craspedia, and foliage.
