Funky Foliage Gardens is a flower growing property at 43 No. 2 Road, RD 2, Te Puke 3182, run by Tony Hooper and Karen Hooper. When this policy says “we”, it means the farm. Questions about your information go to hello@funkyfoliage.nz.
What we collect
If you book a You Pick session we ask for your name, email, mobile number, how many people are coming, and any note you add. A group booking or contact message can also include an organisation name, preferred dates, group size and the message itself.
We do not take card numbers on this website. You pay for the stems you pick when you are at the farm.
Why we use it
We use those details to hold your places, stay inside the session limit, tell you if weather or flower volume changes the event, and reply to an enquiry. That is the purpose. Booking does not add you to a mailing list.
Who else sees it
Tony and Karen see booking and enquiry details. The website stores them so the farm can run the season, and it emails the farm when a booking or message arrives. We do not sell personal information, and we do not pass it to advertisers.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may store or send that information outside New Zealand in order to run the website and deliver email. We use that host only for this farm’s site. If a spam check appears on a form, it is there to block junk messages, not to build a profile of you.
Instagram and Facebook links leave this site. Their privacy rules apply once you are on those services.
Cookies
Visitors are not signed in and are not given a tracking cookie. The only sign-in cookie is for the farm’s own booking desk, and it is not set when you browse or book.
How long we keep it
We keep a booking or message for as long as we need it to run that event, sort out a change, and keep a record of the season. After that we delete it or reduce it to a count that does not identify you.
Seeing or correcting your information
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete a booking or message. Email hello@funkyfoliage.nz or call Karen on 0275 245 755. We may need enough detail to find the right booking.
If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Privacy Commissioner: privacy.org.nz.
